About this site
Who's writing this? I'm Oliver — developer, indie hacker, and the person behind a growing family of boilerplate-focused sites, including
BoilerplateList, BoilerplateDeals, and BoilerplateNewsletter. I'm deep in this ecosystem every day, and BoilerplateNews is how I stay informed — and
how you can too.
What is BoilerplateNews? A focused news site for everything happening in the world of boilerplates, starter kits, and developer scaffolding tools.
Launches, updates, comparisons, community highlights — all in one place.
Why does it exist? Because this ecosystem moves fast. New templates launch every week, frameworks evolve, pricing changes, and tools that were
the gold standard six months ago get replaced by something better. Even I kept missing things that mattered: a boilerplate I relied on would ship a
major new version, or a starter kit would launch that could have saved me weeks — and I'd find out by accident, weeks later. Keeping up felt like a
part-time job, and not a fun one. Nobody was tracking this space, so I started to.
What can you expect? Timely coverage of new launches and major updates. No off-topic tech news — just what's relevant to developers who build with
boilerplates. And honest takes, not recycled press releases: if something is worth your attention, I'll tell you why. All without overwhelming your
reading list.
